Making a mockery of Italian and English stereotypes, the timeless 1967 film Arabella follows the good-intentioned efforts of its sultry namesake Arabella Danesi, played by the winner of 24 International film awards Virna Lisi (Latin Lover) as she attempts to save her grandmother Princess Ilaria (Margaret Rutherford – Castle In The Air) from crippling tax debts.

Using her womanly charms to con several men to part with their money, including General Sir Horace Gordon, Duke Pietro Moretti, a hotel manager and an insurance manager - all played by British comedian Terry Thomas (Strange Bedfellows), Arabella"expertly"brings together European cinema and British humor and arrives on DVD in the UK for the first time.
