Look up Nish Kumar on Wikipedia, and there isn't really very much aside from the fact that he launched into solo stand-up comedy in 2013. Having already made it to Have I Got News For You, appearing with Russell Howard and Alan Davies and hosting Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra, it is clear that he has come a long way in a short space of time.

Clearly an intelligent man, he launches into his act drawing on his own weaknesses, and delivers highly charged but insightful rants concerning race and religion and his own life experiences, quickly moving on to the economy and political correctness gone mad. He has the gift of drawing on the political and moral arguments affecting everyday life and reducing them to trivial nonsense which on many occasions drew the house into spontaneous applause.

Kumar lets you leave the show having had a good giggle, but also with serious thoughts about the world in which we live. A warning to ticket holders – do not endeavour to make a toilet break whilst he is on stage, otherwise you will quickly find yourself the focus of show.

The show continues its run throughout the UK until the end of December 2015.
